I have been developing the idea of a highly elaborated and ambitious piece of work in my mind through the past summer. All I lacked back then was a topic which would have enough meaning to me, and in that way would give birth to the motivation to execute such a piece. Finally I found the topic (I’m considering to open it up when the picture is finished.) and began the work immediately.
I have been working with this picture roughly two weeks now and even I have been surprised how fast and smoothly this is proceeding! YeEEaah I have had some painful moments and this project has also taken it’s toll on my schoolwork. This weekend I’m going to take a little break from drawing, but that is only because I’m visiting home and can’t take the computer with me xD Still I think taking break now is good not only for me to maintain the motivation but also for my right hand’s wrist to get some rest.
My advice for you is: let those ideas mature, don’t rush!
It seems like the pressure recognition of my bamboo isn’t working anymore. I have tried everything from updating it’s driver to removing it’s preferences and loading them again. There isn’t any notable physical damage in the tablet or anything wrong in the compatibility between the tablet and my computer either…
Rip my sweetie you served well for over 4 years ;___;
